Organic Gardens 101

Welcome to a brand new adventure! You will find that it fast becomes an addictive past time, watching these amazing organisms seemingly growing vast amounts of food out of what looks like nothing.

As everyone knows, plants need three things: sun, water and nutrient-rich soil. Almost everyone has the first two, but very few are lucky enough to have ideal soil right outside their doors.

Assuming you are not one of the lucky few, I will have a series of pages on basic techniques and info for the beginners. If you find yourself nodding along, saying "Yes, yes, I already know this!", click on the Advanced Gardening page to look for more and different information.
